What is Reiki?
Reiki is the Japanese art of energy healing. It encourages emotional and physical healing, helping one to uncover and begin to heal the source of distress or unease in their body and mind. Reiki helps to gently clear a path to a deeper understanding of yourself and your purpose. It opens the door for deep healing and transformation, bringing greater peace and light into your life. For many, Reiki is a gateway into the world of energy healing. This energy guides us to focus first on bringing balance to the self, and then moving to share that healing energy with others. It helps us to heighten our perceptions and sensitivity and is a great way to begin to share your innate healing abilities with the world around you.​​

Who is This Course For?
For anyone who feels called! Reiki has a way of finding us when we're ready. You don't need to be spiritual or have a background in alternative healing. You don't need to have the desire to become a healer or practitioner. Reiki Level 1 is focused on self-healing. If you're looking to bring your mind, body, and spirit into a greater state of balance and are interested in forming a deeper connection to yourself and your own inner truth, this course is for you! Reiki helps us to relax into our path and purpose, gaining a deeper trust in the wisdom of our own heart, so we can begin to flow through life with more grace, ease, and compassion. This course is for those who are looking to tap into their own magic, seeking to live their lives with an open heart. It is a pre-requisite to the Practitioner and Master/Teacher Levels and will provide you with the foundational knowledge as well as the certifications you will need to continue on.
What Should I Expect?
We offer an accredited Usui Reiki Ryoho Level 1 Attunement & Certification Course at Sacred Dream Studio. You will be taught by Evie, a Master/Teacher who received her certification in 2015, although it's important to remember that first and foremost, Reiki is your guide and teacher. The Level 1 Certification consists of 8 hours of coursework where we'll cover the history and fundamentals of Reiki healing. We will discuss different methods of clearing and supporting our energy, the purpose and benefits of Reiki, learn how to do self-treatments, and ultimately practice channeling a healing session.
​The program is very flexible and can be arranged to fit into your schedule. We offer one-on-one or small group courses. You can create your own group with friends and family that also want to learn, or you can look for one of our group courses which are offered a few times a year. If you are in a group course, you will need to schedule one private session in order to receive your certification. (This is included in the cost.) The 8 hours of course work can be split into two 4-hour days, eight 1-hour sessions, or anything in between.
The cost is $250
If joining a group course, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to save your spot.
